Hanoi (VNA) – The National Steering Committee forInternational Integration will hold a meeting in the first half of April toreview its performance since its inception five years ago.

The conference will focus on enhancing theproactive, creative and effective integration into the world for the sake offast and sustainable development.

It will review the Government’s implementationof Resolution 22-NQ/TW on international integration, issued by the 11th-tenurePolitburo on April 10, 2013, and Resolution 06-NQ/TW on internationalintegration amid Vietnam’s participation in new-generation free tradeagreements, issued by the 12th-tenure Party Central Committee on November 5, 2016.

The meeting will point out experience and devisemeasures to step up the country’s integration into the world in the comingtime.

It will gather leaders from agencies in chargeof external relations of the Party, the National Assembly and the President’sOffice, along with representatives of socio-political organisations like theVietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the HoChi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Farmers’ Union, and someinternational organisations.-VNA
