Hanoi (VNA) – A conference was held in Hanoi on March 7 to review the campaign on building corporate culture for the 2016-2018 period which was launched by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Business Culture Development (VNABC) Ho Anh Tuan said that the association has paid attention to streamlining apparatus and expanding networks from 2016-2018.

In the near future, it will hold education campaigns to raise public awareness of building and developing corporate culture.

Over the past few years, the VNABC has signed cooperation agreements with 33 cities and provinces to launch the corporate culture building campaign. It will be spread to an additional 30 cities and provinces in the north, southeast, and southwest.

It proposed holding a “Government with Corporate Culture” forum and the first Vietnam corporate culture festival in November.

As a non-profit and voluntary social-professional organisation, the VNABC aims to unite Vietnamese entrepreneurs, businesses, and citizens interested in developing corporate culture as well as improving social responsibility and healthy competition towards the country’s sustainable development and effective global integration.

It has built a set of criteria for “Vietnamese corporate culture”, which is used as a reference to select the Business Culture Awards.

The international “Corporate Culture – Foundation for Sustainable Development” seminar and a corporate culture festival were held in Hanoi, meanwhile a Business Culture Ambassador was also appointed.

The VNABC also encouraged scientific research, training, and consultancy via activities with the Business Culture Institute. –VNA
