As of April 15, ministries, agencies and localitieshad collected hundreds of thousands of opinions on the bill, a majorityof which said the revisions have numerous breakthrough points that helprealise international commitments on human and citizen rights andimprove socialism-oriented market economy regulations and judicialreform.
Others believed that there remainunspecific contents that fail to address daily concerns and called forthem to be included in order to provide a better legal framework for thepublic and authorities.
Participants also expressed their views on regulations regarding activities and local socio-economic development.
The revised Civil Code is divided into 26 chapters with 712 articles.
