Over 20 New Zealand businesses to join Autumn Fair 2025 in Hanoi

The conference, planned to take place on October 28 at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Hanoi’s Dong Anh commune, will bring together New Zealand enterprises from various sectors including design, construction, technology, software, agricultural products, health supplements, dairy, honey, nutrition, healthcare services, hotel investment and management, education, import–export trade, overseas study and migration services, finance, and real estate.

Construction begins on Vietnam – China cross-border bridge

The project has a total investment capital of 1.5 trillion VND (58.6 million USD). The main bridge spanning the Red River is a low-tower cable-stayed design consisting of three spans, with a total length of 230 metres and a width of 35 metres.

A total of 351 communes free of temporary, dilapidated houses

From February 21-28, 7,540 temporary and dilapidated houses were renovated or replaced nationwide, bringing the total number of facilities improved under humanitarian policy to 115,481. Of these, 62,737 houses were inaugurated, while construction began on another 52,744.

Construction of new Phong Chau bridge kicks off

The Ministry of Transport and the People’s Committee of the northern province of Phu Tho on December 21 started the construction of the new Phong Chau bridge on National Highway 32C to replace the old one, which collapsed as a result of Typhoon Yagi.

Indonesia breaks ground on new subway

Construction of a 24.5-km mass rapid transit line connecting Tomang, West Jakarta, with Medan Satria, a district in Bekasi city, West Java - one of Jakarta's satellite cities began on September 11. It is expected to be completed in 2031.
