Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded 7,491 infections of COVID-19, including 11 imported cases, in 55 localities in the past 24 hours to 4pm on November 6, according to the Ministry of Health.
Southern Dong Nai province recorded the highest number of infections with 1,085, followed by Ho Chi Minh City with 986 and Binh Duong with 921.
The national tally now stands at 961,038.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 3,235 patients nationwide are in serious conditions, with 300 requiring invasive ventilation and 13 on life support (ECMO).
On the day, the country saw 58 deaths from the disease. The death toll now hits 22,470.
A further 1,754 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 839,101.
By November 5, the country had injected over 88.40 million doses of vaccines to date, with more than 28.14 million people now fully inoculated./.
