COVID-19: No new cases reported on October 1

No new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Vietnam over the past 12 hours, and the national count remains at 1,095 as of 6pm on October 1, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Hanoi (VNA) – No new cases of COVID-19 were reported inVietnam over the past 12 hours, and the national count remains at 1,095 as of6pm on October 1, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19Prevention and Control.

During the day, eight patients were given the all-clear, raising thetotal recoveries to 1,018.

Among those still under treatment, one has tested negative forSARS-CoV-2 once, two negative twice and five negative thrice. There are not anyserious cases among active patients.

The total COVID-19 fatalities remain at 35, with most dead patientsbeing elderly people with serious underlying diseases.  

There are 15,491 people in quarantine across the country, including 266at hospitals, 10,441 at concentrated facilities and 4,784 at home oraccommodations./.
