Raul Castro Ruz, second secretary of the Cuban Party Central Committee, President of the State Council and Council of Ministers, sent a message of greeting to Vietnamese leaders on Dec. 1 on the occasion of the 50 th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (Dec. 2).
In the message, sent to Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, State President Nguyen Minh Triet and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Raul Castro Ruz, on behalf of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Government, the people and Comrade Fidel Castro Ruz, extended his warm congratulations and reaffirmed Cuban determination to continue boosting fraternal ties between the two countries.
He also reaffirmed Cuban determination to continue developing cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
The same day, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla sent a message in the same vein to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem./.
