Da Nang (VNA) – A two-day international conference on information science and technology opened in central Da Nang city on April 17.
Co-held by the Da Nang-based Vietnam-Korea Friendship Information Technology College and China’s City University of Hong Kong, the event aims to seek initiatives and new applications in the IT sector.
More than 80 reports, including 50 by foreign scientists, were delivered at the conference.
The reports focused on computer science, control and automation, data processing and telecoms and brain computer interfaces, among others.
According to Hoang Bao Hung, headmaster of the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Information Technology College, the event is one of major science and technology activities of the college.
It helped improve capacity of the college’s lecturers and staff while opening up opportunities for Vietnamese and foreign IT scientists to exchange ideas and experiences, he added. - VNA
