Da Nang (VNA) – In 2019, the central city of Da Nang will strive to improve investmentand business climate, ease difficulties facing the firms and create favourableconditions for their development, according to Da Nang authorities.

Secretary of the municipalParty Committee Truong Quang Nghia said positive signs have been observed inthe realization of most of the socio-economic targets, as the city’s economymaintains stable growth and gross domestic product (GDP) rises 7.86 percentover the last year.

In the next year, localauthorities will review and continue the implementation of the existinginvestment promotion mechanisms and policies, as well as offer new incentivesto attract more domestic and foreign investors.

At the same time, DaNang is set to continue administrative reforms and maintain its high ranking ofthe provincial competitiveness index, along with building suitableinfrastructure to lure investment.

The city is alsoexpected to improve human resources and vocational training quality, whileboosting links with educational establishments and local firms and investors,especially in the prioritized fields.

Besides, Da Nang willbolster anti-corruption and activities against wastefulness, in tandem withbuilding a transparent administration and raising efficiency of State management.-VNA
