Da Nang tourism witnesses impressive growth

Since the beginning of this year, Da Nang's tourism sector has witnessed impressive growth in both tourist arrivals and revenue. These achievements are largely attributed to the local efforts to introduce new products and renovate existing ones to make them more captivating to visitors.

This summer, Da Nang continues to be a "tourist magnet", with a series of attractive events and festivals, such as the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, the introduction of Bach Dang Pedestrian Street, and the Da Nang Asian Film Festival.

The Asia Park has been upgraded into a mega entertainment complex with a new name ‘Da Nang Downtown,’ featuring extreme sports performances, and the art show "Symphony by the River."

Da Nang has also launched attractive stimulus programs, including discounts of airfares, accommodation, travel services, and destinations.

In the first half of this year, Da Nang welcomed about 5.1 million visitors, a 25.6% increase year-on-year. Revenue from accommodation and dining services increased by 22%, and revenue from travel services and tourism support activities surged by nearly 60%.

With the lowering airfares and upcoming events and festivals, such as Enjoy Da Nang Festival, Vietnam-Korea Festival, and Golf Tourism Festival, Da Nang is on its way to realize the target of welcoming 8.4 million visitors this year./.
