The honour was presented by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Pham Khoi Nguyen at a ceremony in Hanoi on July 5.
The Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Sai Gon) daily on July 6 reported that during his six-year tenure, starting from 2004, the Danish Ambassador has provided great supports for the cause of environmental protection in Vietnam and the country’s efforts to minimise the impact of climate change./.
