On 31 January 1950, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) officially established diplomatic relations. Over the past 75 years, the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the DPRK have been highly valued by the Party, State, and people of both countries. This relationship has been continuously strengthened and further developed, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and beyond.
