Deputies at the ongoing first session of the 13th National Assembly on July 29 elected key positions to the Council of Ethnic Minorities, other bodies and Secretariat of NA sessions.
Ksor Phuoc was elected as Chairman of the Council of Ethnic Minorities (CEM) with the voting rate of 98.2 percent. CEM Vice Chairpersons of the 40-member council are Giang A Chu, Ma Dien Cu, Danh Ut and Trieu Mui Nai.
Phan Trung Ly won 95.6 percent of the votes to be Chairman of the NA Law Committee. Nguyen Kim Hong, Tran Dinh Long, Dang Dinh Luyen and Le Minh Thong were elected as Vice Chairpersons of the 40-member Law Committee.
Nguyen Van Hien was elected as Chairman of the NA Justice Committee with the voting rate of 92.7 percent. The 30-member committee has five Vice Chairpersons, namely Nguyen Cong Hong, Le Thi Nga, Duong Ngoc Nguu, Nguyen Dinh Quyen and Nguyen Van Luat.
The 13th NA deputies elected Nguyen Van Giau as Chairman of the Economic Committee with 94.2 percent of the votes. The 45-member committee has four Vice Chairpersons, namely Mai Xuan Hung, Nguyen Duc Kien, Nguyen Van Phuc and Dang The Vinh.
Phung Quoc Hien won 98.6 percent of the votes to be Chairman of the 37-member Finance-Budget Committee with four Vice Chairpersons, namely Bui Dang Dung, Dinh Trinh Hai, Dinh Van Nha and Tran Van.
Chairman of the 36-member Defence and Security Committee is Nguyen Kim Khoa with the voting rate of 96.4 percent and three Vice Chairpersons are Ho Trong Ngu, Le Viet Truong and Tran Dinh Nha.
Dao Trong Thi was elected as Chairman of the Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children with 96.4 percent of the votes. The 43-member committee has four Vice Chairpersons, namely Le Van Hoc, Ngo Thi Minh, Le Nhu Tien and Trinh Ngoc Thach.
The Committee for Social Affairs has 50 members with Truong Thi Mai as Chairwoman (96 percent) and Nguyen Thuy Anh, Do Manh Hung, Bui Sy Loi and Nguyen Van Tien as Vice Chairpersons.
The Committee for Science, Technology and Environment has 33 members with Phan Xuan Dung as Chairman (96.6 percent) and Nguyen Vinh Ha, Le Quang Huy, Le Bo Linh and Vo Tuan Nhan as Vice Chairpersons.
Tran Van Hang won 97.4 percent of the votes to be Chairman of the Committee for External Relations. The 36-member committee has four Vice Chairpersons, namely Ngo Duc Manh, Ha Huy Thong and Nguyen Manh Tien.
Nguyen Hanh Phuc won 98.6 percent of the votes to be the head of the 13-member Secretariat of the NA sessions.
With 491 votes, NA deputies agreed to relieve Vuong Dinh Hue of his post as Chief Auditor of State Audit of Vietnam./.
