Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh called for the best possible conditions to be granted to Busan’s Vietnamese community while receiving the mayor of the Republic of Korean city, Hur Nam Sik, in Hanoi on April 2.

Minh, who is also Foreign Minister, spoke highly of the mayor’s contribution to ties between both countries and particularly between Busan and Ho Chi Minh City, which have been twin cities since 1995.

He requested Busan further expand its partnership with HCM City and other Vietnamese localities to utilise their potential and strength.

For his part, Hur declared that Busan will do its utmost to tighten bilateral cooperation between the two cities and both countries at large.-VNA
