Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc proposed all-around links with India in an attempt to carry forward bilateral ties at his reception in Hanoi on January 7 for President of the India–ASEAN Business Promotion Council Shantanu Srivastava.
The cooperation will cover economics, trade, investment, energy, tourism, national defence, science-technology and culture.
The Deputy PM said he expects the move will foster the traditional friendship and existing bilateral strategic partnership in the time to come.
Srivastava said he appreciates the enthusiastic support of the Vietnamese Government for Indian investors over the past time, adding that he hopes it will continue.
He also expressed desire that both sides will hold the annual Indian Culture Days in Vietnam and Vietnamese Culture Days in India.
The guest vowed to do all he can for the prosperity of bilateral partnerships.-VNA
