A distressed fishing boat with 11 fishermen aboard from central Quang Ngai province was towed ashore successfully on May 30.
According to the Command of the Border Guards of Quang Ngai province, boat QNg 95004-TS, captained by Tran Nam from Binh Chau commune, Quang Ngai, was fishing in the waters of Truong Sa archipelago when it experienced mechanical difficulties and began drifting on May 26.
After receiving information from the command, boat QNg 95831-TS, captained by Vo Son from Binh Chau commune, came to the distressed vessel and towed it to the province’s Sa Ky port.
All fishermen are safe and sound.-VNA
