The US dollar prices listed the same day at the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) were between 18,990-19,060 VND, a slight decrease of 20 VND per USD against the previous day.
Meanwhile, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) still quoted its inter-bank exchange rate at 18,544 VND/USD.
On the same day, local gold price slid by more than 100,000 VND (or 5.2 USD) per tael due to the world price slump.
