Dong Nai(VNA) – Domestic firms in the southern province of Dong Nai are finding it hardto join the supply chain providing products to the support industry, accordingto the local People’s Committee.
There is still anabsence of connectivity between foreign direct investment (FDI) firms anddomestic support industry ones, the office said, adding most of the FDI firms inthe support industry rely on the components or accessories they produce by themselvesor imports.
In order to developthe support industry, Dong Nai authorities will, from now to 2025, focus onhelping firms broaden their markets, match supply with demand, connect them tosupport firms, and train their personnel to meet the requirements by supportindustry firms.
Special help will comein the form of support in terms of infrastructure use fee at industrial zonesand complexes for small- and medium-sized enterprises, it said.
Besides Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai province is another sizable economic hub in the south of Vietnam./.
