Dragon steps: A national treasure in the Kinh Thien Palace

Located in the center of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long from the Early Le Dynasty, Kinh Thien Palace was the most important main hall in the ancient Forbidden City, residing in Long Do, where the sacred aura of heaven and earth converges.

Tran Dang Khoa is a young researcher, who has a deep love and respect for the history of Vietnam. He has learned by heart almost all things about the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

Among the national treasures discovered and kept at the site of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, such as the bodhi leaf with phoenix symbol in the Ly Dynasty, the “Thau quang ngu dung” royal bowl in the Early Le Dynasty or the “Sac an chi bao” royal seal under the Tran Dynasty, Dang Khoa was most impressed with the dragon steps at the Kinh Thien Palace.
