Drug Chinese traffickers brought to light

The border guards of the northern province of Quang Ninh have recently brought to light a Chinese-involved drug trafficking ring, confiscating 2.3 kg of ketamine and 1,500 tablets of amphetamine type stimulants.

The ring involved two Chinese people, YanXiao Zeng, born in 1972 and Wang Jian Ping, born in 1977, residing inHunan province, China , who were caught when illegally entering theVang Lay border area in Mong Cai town.

The ring’s other memberswere Jin Qian Fu and Wu Dao Jun from Hu Bei and Chong Qing provinces,who were arrested also in Mong Cai town.

They confessed to bringing the drug to Cambodia for sales./.

Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.
