Dean of Thai Nguyen University Pham Hong Quang saidthat his university has enjoyed new developments in infrastructure, andteacher and student competence through the project’s training courses,seminars and access to a new teaching method, and coherence betweensecondary school and university education in particular to achieve moresustainable and effective training.

Head of the Department ofEducation and Training in the southern city of Can Tho Tran TrongKhiem praised the project, acknowledging that staff competence hasbeen elevated in the locality.

At the event, held by the Ministryof Education and Training in collaboration with the Asia DevelopmentBank, targeted education units reported that the project has brought inan array of benefits including designing a framework for teaching staffdevelopment, ensuring training quality via examinations and anevaluation process, and enhancing the capacity of education planning andmanagement among others.-VNA
