Enfance Avenir donates 48,000 EUR to children’s home

The Enfance Avenir organisation ( France ) has announced a 48,000 EUR donation to two children’s home in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau .
The Enfance Avenir organisation ( France ) has announced a 48,000EUR donation to two children’s home in the southern province of BaRia-Vung Tau .

At a working session with the provincial authorities on Oct. 25, theorganisation said the amount will be disbursed within two years from nowuntil 2012. Half of the sum will be used to pay for child caringexpenses at the Vung Tau centre for disadvantaged children and theremaining will go to the Long Hai facility.

EnfanceAvenir’s office in Vietnam also granted 20,600 EUR to the Vung Tauchildren’s home to pay for vaccination, repairing of toilets andteaching computer use for children living at the facility./.

Intellectual cooperation deepens Vietnam–France relations: expert

Ministry proposes seven-day 2027 Lunar New Year holiday

Under the Ministry of Home Affairs' proposal, civil servants and public employees in Vietnam would receive five statutory days off, including two days before and three days after the Lunar New Year. As two of those days fall on the weekend, they would receive two additional compensatory days off, bringing the total holiday to seven consecutive days.
