The delegation of the European Union (EU) to Vietnam will organise several events to introduce the Erasmus Mundus scholarships (EM) to Vietnamese students, Charge d’Affaires of the EU delegation, Berenice Muraille said at a press briefing on April 7.
The free-admission events will be organised at six universities in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Can Tho and Da Nang cities from April 14-18.
EM is a renown European education programme that aims to boost cooperation and encourage exchanges between universities in the EU.
The EU and Vietnam have agreed to boost tertiary education cooperation, considering it a priority in their Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.
Since the EM was first introduced in Vietnam in 2004, 482 Vietnamese students have received EM scholarships./.
