Exhibition spotlights Party’s 90-year development

Bac Ninh (VNA) – The 90-year development of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) is featured at an exhibition opening in the northern province of Bac Ninh on January 15, through more than 300 photos, documents and objects.

The exhibition, held by the provincial Museum and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the CPV (February 3).

It also spotlights milestones and significant achievements Vietnam and Bac Ninh in particular have recorded under the Party leadership over the past nine decades, especially the more than 30 years of reform, said Nguyen Van Anh, Deputy Director of the department.

With three parts, the display gives visitors an insight into Vietnam’s situation and patriotic movements in the second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century, Nguyen Ai Quoc (an alias of late President Ho Chi Minh)’s activities towards Marxism-Leninism, the conference on the establishment of the CPV and the Party’s first political platform.

The exhibition devotes a space to local outstanding revolutionary soldiers who were jailed by imperialists and colonialists during the wars, helping to educate young generations about the tradition of patriotism.

It runs until February 3./.
