Hanoi (VNA) – A photo exhibitionwill feature 245 artworks about Vietnam in Ha Long City, the northern coastalprovince of Quang Ninh from October 30 to November 8.

The information was released at a pressconference on the biennial event held in Hanoi on October 24.

This year, the exhibition features twotopics, namely “Ha Long – Quang Ninh: New Perspective” and “Freedom”.

According to Ma The Anh, deputy head of FineArts, Photography and Exhibition Department and head of the exhibition’s artcouncil, in the three months after its launch, the exhibition received 10,000submissions from 1,450 professional and non-professional photographersnationwide.

The art council selected 245 works from 192 photographers,and awarded two gold prizes, four silver prizes, six bronze prizes and 10consolation prizes.
