Con Dao is famous for its wonderful scenery. When coming here, we should try to explore the island's nature with a diverse and rich marine ecosystem.

Our journey begins with diving to see local coral reefs. In Con Dao, it is easy for visitors to find a canoe with a capacity of about 10 people, accompanied by a friendly guide right at the pier in the town's center.

Enjoy the cool sea breeze amidst the wonderful natural scenery. After about 20 minutes, the canoe takes us to the coral reef at Hon Bay Canh area. Put a life jacket on your body, wear diving goggles and use a snorkel, then we can see the coral reef safely. The water depth in this area is from 2.5 meters to more than 5 meters.

The sea is clear and the weather is almost always beautiful. The colorful coral reef and various marine animals gradually appear before your eyes clearly and vividly. If we're lucky, we can see sea turtles in this area

According to Con Dao National Park, there are many beautiful coral reefs in the archipelago. But to preserve the ecosystem and develop sustainable tourism, only a few places are allowed to open for tourism.

The second activity in the series of activities to explore Con Dao usually starts at about 20:00 at Hon Bay Canh. Tourists will have a chance to observe and learn about a typical crab species of the Con Dao archipelago, which is the tank crab.

The last and also the highlight of the whole journey is watching turtles laying eggs and releasing baby turtles back to the sea.

After 22:00, large mother turtles, more than 1 meter in length, will go to the sandy shore in the Bay Canh area to lay eggs. Each turtle can give birth from 80 eggs to 150 eggs per night.

The rangers and staff at Con Dao National Park are the "midwives" who help sea turtles give birth smoothly. They also put the turtles' eggs in a safe incubation area to ensure a high hatching rate and good growth of baby turtles.

After more than 50 days, the turtle eggs will hatch. The "midwives" then become "nannies" for those baby turtles, and with tourists, they will release the baby turtles to the sea./.
