The bloody firefight occurred in the morning of the day, killing fiveASG members and injuring 14 others, according to Alan Arrojado,commander of the joint task group in Sulu.

Established in the early 1990s, the ASG has conducted the worstterrorism attacks in the history of the southern Philippines.-VNA
