Minh told visiting Secretary of State of theCambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation UngSean that he highly appreciates the cooperation between the twoministries in the implementation of high level agreements, which hascontributed to enhancing and boosting bilateral relations.

Heurged for further cooperation between the two foreign ministries,especially during Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2012 and celebrationof the 45th year of diplomatic relations next year.

A two-daymeeting between the ministries, held in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, endedon March 7. The two sides reviewed cooperation activities and discussedrecent regional and international issues.

Also on March 8, seniorVietnamese and Cambodian officials met in HCM City to prepare for the7th meeting on Cooperation and Development between border provinces ofCambodia and Vietnam, scheduled for March 9./.

Vietnam, Italy agree on new cooperation directions

Both sides agreed to facilitate market access for key export products, and prioritise cooperation in investment attraction and technology transfer in emerging and strategic sectors such as new energy, renewable energy and automation, while continuing to strengthen existing cooperation in textiles, footwear, climate change response, electronics, culture and tourism.
