Myanmar’s Prime Minister Thein Sein extended his deep condolences to victims of typhoon Ketsana in a message sent to his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung dated Oct. 7.

Brunei Darussalam’s Foreign Minister Mohamed Bolkiah on Oct. 12 also expressed his sympathy to Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem over losses caused by the typhoon, which killed at least 170 people in Vietnam’s central and Central Highlands regions.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Oct. 8 sent a message to thank the German government and people for providing 300,000 EUR in emergency aid to help the victims recover from typhoon damage./.
