They are among over 300reports to be presented at the 2-day international workshop at Thu DauMot University in southern Binh Duong province.
The event is co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh University of SocialSciences and Humanities (HCM USSH), Hanoi-based University of SocialSciences and Humanities at Vietnam National University (VNU), HueUniversity of Sciences and Thu Dau Mot University.
Its reports will focus on Vietnam’s previous struggle for nationalindependence, Doi Moi (renewal) and international integration process.
Additionally, a number of documents on the warsagainst France and the US, the Southwest border war and East Seaincidents will be released at the event.
The WarRemnants Museum will also exhibit more than 100 historical objects,documents and photos on the wars and the country’s 40 years ofsocio-economic development.
HCM USSH VicePrincipal Le Huu Phuoc said the university’s lecturers and students hopefor other international science forums like the upcoming workshop. Suchevents allow them to look at valuable historical documents and learnadvanced search techniques from foreign scholars.-VNA
