An exchange programme for foreign students in Vietnam to celebrate Lunar New Year was held by the Vietnam Students Association on January 15 at Hanoi University.

 Hanoi (VNA) – Anexchange programme for foreign students in Vietnam to celebrate Lunar New Yearwas held by the Vietnam Students Association on January 15 at Hanoi University.

The event, held for the firsttime, drew 252 representatives, including international students in Vietnam,Vietnamese students overseas and students in Hanoi.

It served as an exchange platformfor Vietnamese and international students in Vietnam, fostering mutualunderstanding and promoting Vietnam’s image to the world, said Doan Hong Ha, ViceChairman of the Association.

During the programme,participants experienced Vietnamese Lunar New Year through various activitiessuch as making Chung cake, five fruit tray arranging competitions andcalligraphy.

The event also featuredtraditional games and Vietnamese cuisine as well as musical performances.-VNA
