Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh presented the Friendship Order to the out-going Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Dumitru Olaru on March 30.
The presentation was made in recognition of his contributions to promoting the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Romania during his term in office.
Ambassador Olaru thanked the Vietnamese State for the generous honour, and said it is a true indication of friendship that lies between the two countries.
He stated that he will endeavor to continue contributing to heighten the friendship and close ties that lie between both peoples.-VNA
