Four Vietnamese banks were listed among the best companies to work for in Asia in the HR Asia Awards 2019 announced on July 10.

Hanoi (VNA) –
Four Vietnamese bankswere listed among the best companies to work for in Asia in the HR Asia Awards2019 announced on July 10.

They are Ho Chi Minh City Development JointStock Commercial Bank (HDBank), Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), Saigon – Hanoi CommercialJoint Stock Bank (SHB), and Vietnam Prosperity Joint-Stock CommercialBank (VPBank).

This is thesecond consecutive year HDB has received the award.

Hundreds ofVietnamese enterprises operating in various fields registered for the award, ofwhich 50 were honoured. 

Apart from four Vietnamese banks, twointernational banks operating in Vietnam – the Shinhan Bank from the Republicof Korea, and Standard Chartered from the UK, were also included in the list.

The awards are given to enterprises withattractive policies, working environment and regular organisation of internalactivities to connect employees.

In 2019, HR Asia used an overall evaluationmodel to examine the satisfaction of employees with their workplaces, based onthree core elements Core (personnel structre), Self (individual) and Group(collective).-VNA

Vietnamese firms step up cooperation with international distribution chains

Vietnam Airlines to launch direct Hanoi–Amsterdam service on June 16

Under the plan, the Hanoi–Amsterdam route will commence operations on June 16, 2026, with an expected frequency of three return flights per week using modern wide-body Airbus A350 aircraft. This will be the first direct air link between Vietnam and the Netherlands, helping to shorten travel time and enhance connectivity between Vietnam and one of Europe’s key economic, logistics and aviation transit hubs.

An Giang accelerates export shift to meet green consumption trends

E5 RON92 biofuel price falls in latest adjustment

Since the beginning of this year, domestic fuel prices have undergone 14 adjustments, including five decreases and nine increases for RON95 and six declines and eight hikes for E5 RON92. Meanwhile, diesel price has fallen three times and risen 11 times.

Resolution 68 boosts businesses entering market
