The central city of Hue has completed the dredge and upgrade of two lakes that are part of the inner city’s drainage system, with funding from the Paris wastewater treatment authority (SIAAP), said the Chairman of the Hue municipal People’s Committee, Phan Trong Vinh on Nov 13 th .
Besides improving the drainage capacity, the project also turns Ho Ve and Do Thanh Hoang lakes into a public park after 18 months of construction with a total investment of 575,000 EUR.
Hue city has also reached an agreement with SIAAP on projects regarding the dredging of the Ngu Ha canal and waste treatment at the Thuy Duong garbage dump , which are scheduled to be carried out in fiscal year 2011./.
