Hacthoun, who is now Prensa Latina correspondent based in Argentinasaid his meetings with the General during his working time in Vietnambetween 2006 and 2007 gave him an insight into a modest man and hisgenius military mind.

The writerremembers the General stating that unity is the key for all nations inthe world who want victory . Hacthoun added that the life of therevolutionary figurehead has proved inspirational to the nations ofLatin America.

One month ago, apublication of General Giap’s book ‘People’s War, People’s Army’,considered as a key text of military theory, was published byArgentinean bookshop chain Cienflores.-VNA
