people with hare lips, cleft palates and scars in Can Tho City and
other provinces in the Mekong Delta.

Volunteer doctors and nurses from Germany 's Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Humanitarian Organisation (Interplast) in collaboration with the Can Tho Odonto-Maxillo Eye and Facial Surgery Hospital in conjunction with the Sponsor’s Association for the Poor in Can Tho City are conducting the operations.
According to Nguyen Thanh Hoa, the hospital’s Director , almost 200 patients have registered for an operation.
The cost of the operations will be covered by Interplast.
This is the fourth time a programme of free operations has taken place in the Mekong Delta and it will run until March 21.-VNA
