Germany celebrates 35th diplomatic ties with VN

Germany will hold a series of political, economic and cultural activities in Vietnam this year to mark the 35 th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.
Germany will hold a series of political, economic and cultural activities in Vietnam this year to mark the 35 th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.

The announcement was made by German Ambassador to Vietnam Rolf Schulze at a press briefing in Hanoi on January 18.

This is a good chance for Germany to promote the country’s image in Vietnam , helping enhance the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, commented Pham Sanh Chau, director of the Culture Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while referring to the German’s activities.

The activities will include symposiums, fairs and exhibitions on urban planning, transport, architecture, environment protection and climate change.

In addition, Germany will hold classical concerts, other musical events and film festivals alongside photo and book exhibitions, dance and drama performances.

An international economic conference will take place in early this year to find a model for German businesses in Vietnam .

Germany is one of the Vietnam ’s largest trade partners in the European Union (EU)./.
