Ha Nam (VNA) – The northern province of HaNam hopes to lure groups and businesses from developed countries, including theCzech Republic, a local official affirmed on April 18.

At a working session with Czech Ambassador HynekKmonicek, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Truong Quoc Huy said HaNam is working hard to boost industrial development, with a focus on high-tech,support industries, processing, manufacturing and services towards modernityand sustainability.

The official called on the ambassador to encourageCzech businesses to invest in the community.

Along with its favourable geographical location and transportinfrastructure, the province will ensure other essential infrastructure andservices for enterprises, help them with personneltraining and land clearance, and create the best possible conditions for themto expand production and business, Huy promised.

For his part, Kmonicek told his host that Czechfirms are interested in the Asian market, especially Vietnam, and there will bemany delegations of Czech leaders and enterprises to visit the Southeast Asiannation this year.

The ambassador said he will suggest they scope outthe investment environment in Ha Nam and learn experiences from Elmich Vietnam JSC of the CzechRepublic, located at the An My industrial cluster in Binh Luc district./.
