Hai Phong presents gifts to Vientiane
The Hai Phong Municipal People’s
Committee has presented 500 million VND and 10 tonnes of rice seeds to
the Lao province of Vientiane.

the Lao province of Vientiane.
The gift was part of ongoing cooperation between Vietnam ’s northern port city of Hai Phong and Vientiane province.
Hai Phong has helped Vientiane in the provision of training courses on English language and tourism, rice seeds, technology transfer, and construction of schools.
The two sides have also cooperated in industry, agriculture, aquaculture, transport, post, construction, trade and tourism on the basis of mutual benefit.
A ceremony to hand over the gift was held in Vientiane on Jan. 28 in the presence of representatives from Hai Phong City , the Vietnamese Embassy and Vientiane province./.
