Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi has been named one of top 13 destinations for travellers in March by the US-based Business Insider magazine.
The list is made based on analysis of airfare trends, climate data, and peak travel times.
March is the ideal time to visit Southeast Asian countries, and Vietnam is no exception, the report said.
With average temperatures ranging from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius and colourful flowers blooming, Hanoi is a good place for visitors to spend time roaming around the old quarter, experiencing open-air eateries, and hearing the noise of whizzing motorbikes.
The news website advises wandering around the Old Quarter in the city’s downtown, an area it describes as “energetic and mazelike.” Hoan Kiem Lake provides a peaceful respite from the frenzy, as do numerous Buddhist temples and pagodas, it added.
