The Vientiane School of Politics and Administration construction project, a gift of Hanoi , was handed over to the capital city of Laos on Sept. 22.
Prominent among those who attended the handover ceremony in Vientiane were Secretary of the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and Secretary of the Vientiane Party Committee Sombath Yialiheu, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Ta Minh Chau and Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Tuong Phi Chien.
The representatives spoke highly of the special cooperation and traditional friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples and the two cities.
The construction project, a symbol of a strong cooperative relationship, will provide human resources training for Vientiane and neighbouring provinces, they said.
The project, which includes a three-storey building, a three-storey library, a conference room and an administration building, has total investment of 3 million USD./.
