A forum highlighting the best surveillance measures in global digital security was held in Hanoi on June 5, as part of activities building up to the seventh International Security, Fire and Safety Exhibition, which is slated for August.
The forum introduced the latest technology in the field, as well as a number of surveillance equipment for airports, factories, accommodation, banks and office buildings.
It also offered a good chance for domestic and international experts to share experience and discuss new ideas in depth.
Initiated in 2002, the forum has raised the significance of digital technology in monitoring security.
It has been held in China’s Taiwan for 10 consecutive years before expanding to other countries such as Japan, Thailand, India and Vietnam.
Vietnam first held the forum in 2011, and has organised it every June since.-VNA
