Hanoi implements home quarantine for COVID contacts

Hanoi’s authorities are expanding home quarantine for F0 and F1 cases to 30 districts and townships, as prescribed by the health sector.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA) – Hanoi’s authorities are expanding home quarantine for F0and F1 cases to 30 districts and townships, as prescribed by the health sector. 

Therequirement was made after Chairman of the municipal People’sCommittee Chu Ngoc Anh signed a dispatch to implement measures in responseto a continued rise in COVID-19 cases in the city. 

Itis expected that the number of new cases will continue to rise rapidly,particularly as travel traditionally increases in the last months of the year. 

Therehave been 1,751 new cases found in the city between November 25 to December 1,an average of 291 cases a day. 

Anhasked the Department of Health to guide districts and townships instrengthening measures that control the pandemic while increasing the speed ofvaccine distribution. 

TheDepartment of Health will coordinate with the Department of Information andCommunications to deploy software to manage the treatment of F0 cases atmedical facilities and at home across the city. 

Localitieshave coordinated with the Department of Health to set up facilities to providetreatment for mild and asymptomatic F0 cases following the mobile medicalstation model, ensuring each ward, communes and township have an average of atleast 150 beds.

Thedispatch also requests that more information be publically available, such asvia the portals of districts and townships, to inform residents about the planof quarantine and treatment for F0, F1 at home.

TheDepartment of Tourism has been asked to cooperate with the Department of Healthto review accommodation facilities that meet the requirements for F1 isolation. 

Thecity assigned districts and townships to coordinate with the CapitalCommand and the Department of Transport to transport F1 cases to the city'sconcentrated isolation facilities within 12 hours of a positive test result.

Thecity chairman also assigned the Department of Education and Training towork with the Department of Health to inspect and guide localities inpreparing for the return of students to school, ensuring absolute safety forstudents and teachers, while being ready to deal with any situation./.

RoK hospital provides medical checkups, equipment to Quang Ngai residents
