Leaders of the capital cities of Vietnam and Israel have agreed to boost cooperation in many fields in the near future.

At a working session between Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao and Mayor of Tel Aviv Ron Huldal in Hanoi on Jan. 4, the two sides discussed details of cooperation in the fields of hi-tech application in agricultural production, urban planning and management and transport organisation and operation.

In the coming time, the two cities will host cultural and student exchanges to strengthen mutual understanding between the two sides.

Mayor Huldal affirmed that Tel Aviv is ready to cooperate with Hanoi in the fields of its strength, especially in the training of experts in science-technology, and technological application in rural development.

The same day, at a reception for Mayor Huldal, Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi said he believes the visit will contribute to further promoting cooperation between the two capital cities in the fields of economics, science-technology, trade and investment.

As part of the visit to Hanoi from Jan. 3-9, the delegation paid tribute to Ho Chi Minh President and will visit several historical sites and popular tourist attractions in the city./.
