Lotus ponds in An Phu (My Duc district, Hanoi) are in full bloom, a flowery and breathtaking collage of pink hues during this snapshot in time when they make their gracious appearance. The ponds stretch along limestone mountains, laying out a colorful floor to the lotus valley that beckons travelers to her doorstep.
A photo book featuring black and white photos of daily life in Hanoi came to the public recently. The photos were taken by Minh Phạm, a Vietnamese-American and a former diplomat of the United Nations, during his short visits to the capital city in 2016.
