Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi is willing to cooperate with and learn from Russianenterprises’ experience in building an e-Government, said Chairman of the HanoiPeople’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.
Chung made the remark during a reception in Hanoi on February 19 for adelegation from the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, during which heexpressed his belief that the partnership between Vietnam and Russia as well asHanoi - Moscow cooperation will only grow stronger.
He showed his admiration for achievements made byRussia in e-Government development, including inter-ministerial and inter-sectorialand action systems and a national platform system for processing dispersed data.
Mikhail Mamonov, Russian Deputy Minister ofDigital Development, Communications and Mass Media, who is leading the delegation,shared Russia’s experience in building Moscow’s public administrative model anddeveloping smart cities, and the possibility of applying these models inVietnam.
He talked the design of a national public service portals, solutions to a nationalservices portal and information systems in interaction with people and businesses.
He gave advice on building a cyber information security centre for Vietnam’sGovernment office to ensure cyber security. -VNA
