Hanoi’s Traffic Police Department appointed more female police officers to control traffic at an additional five crossroads in the city.
Beginning on January 21, the officers are stationed at the crossroads of Tran Hung Dao-Ba Trieu, Nguyen Thai Hoc-Chu Van An, Cat Linh-Ton Duc Thang, Xuan Thuy- Tran Thai Tong and Khuat Duy Tien- Nguyen Trai.
About 10 other crossroads in the city have seen female police offices working to control traffic.
The officers, who began working in these areas about two weeks ago, have been welcomed by local residents./.VNA
