Illustrative image (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Double-decker buses provided 127 free trips for 6,681 passengers during April 28 – May 2 holiday in the capital city of Hanoi, reported the municipal Transport Department.
During the period, buses across the city also ran 97,995 trips, or 99.9% of the plan and 15% higher than the same period last year, with over 7.56 million passengers.
Furthermore, urban railway line 2A completed 1,045 trips with 174,434 passengers.
The Hanoi Public Transport Management Centre also adjusted the routes of three bus lines to serve local tourist destinations.
No accidents involving buses were recorded during the holiday./.
