HCM City, Guangdong boost all-around cooperation

The two sides discussedmeasures to enhance their cooperation, especially in tourism, culture,education, infrastructure, transport, mechanics and agriculture.

Liem lauded Zhao’s visit to HCM City and her presence at a periodicconference reviewing the connection between Vietnam’s localities andGuangdong over the previous year and a trade forum , which, he said,will help foster trade exchanges between the two localities as well asthe two nations.

He stated that the city andGuangdong province hold many similarities and potential to intensifyties in trade, tourism, industry and agriculture.

The city will create all possible conditions for the two sides’businesses to expand their investments and operations, he added.

Zhao said that her province has been twinned with the city since2009, adding that their cooperation agreements in economics, trade,investment and tourism have benefited both sides.

She emphasised that it is time for the two sides to speed up cooperation to lift their ties to a new height.-VNA

Vietnam, China sign 32 cooperation documents

The documents include a cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) for the 2026–2030 period; a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Organisation Commission of the CPV Central Committee and its Chinese counterpart; and a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.
