HCM City, Kagoshima look forward to expanding ties

Japan now has over 200 business representative offices and 300 investment projects worth over 3.4 billion USD in HCM City. In January – June, another 24 Japanese firms poured over 530 million USD in the city, Quan told visiting Mayor of Kagoshima city Mori Hiroyuki on July 9.

The Kagoshima mayor, for his part, said he is actively promoting bilateral ties with Vietnamese localities.

The facilitation of exchanges between enterprises and students will raise mutual understanding between the two cities, the guest said.

He also took the occasion to invite a delegation of children from HCM City to Kagoshima to attend an arts festival this October.-VNA
